GST, it is currently on sale at Safeguard Safes for $1466.00 inc. GST. It is built with high quality construction filled with Chubb Safes proven barrier material to provide effective protection. A glass re-locking device is incorporated into the bolt work system to provide additional resistance if the locks are dislodged during an attack. This particular Chubb Omni MKII 30 is found online fitted with a digital lock, however key locks or combination locking mechanisms are available upon request.
If you want to look further into other brands of similar size, you could look into the Guardall BFG500. It has an external size of h 474 x w 484 x d 450mm and a weight of 160kg. The cash rating or insurance rating is slightly higher than the Chubb Omni MKII, it is estimated to be approximately $45,000, and has a fire resistance of 60 minutes. Due to the higher rated burglary and fire protection, it is also a bit more pricey than the Chubb Omni MKII 30. The Guardall BFG500 is priced at $2378.00, and is currently on sale at Safeguard Safes for $2264.90. The Guardall BFG500 is designed to provide a high level of protection against all known forms of professional attacks such as high speed drills & grinders, explosives, external force, crowbars and sledge hammers. The door is constructed of a 12mm solid steel door section, internal motion sensor lights activate automatically when the door opens. There is also a stand and drawers available to the BFG500 as an add on feature.
If you’re having difficulty deciding which one of these safes are suitable for you, you could consider the amount of valuables you wish to store in the safe, in order to determine the cash rating you require on the safe. The cash rating, or burglary rating of the safe gives you an idea of the theft and burglary resistance of your safe. For instance if you have $40,000 worth of precious metals that you want to store within the safe, then the Guardall BFG500 would be the more suitable option for you as it provides sufficient insurance rating to cover the valuable amount you plan to place in the safe. Whereas if you have around $10,000 worth of cash and jewellery to be stored in the safe, the Chubb Omni MKII 30 would be the better choice
